With a background in both computational methods and population health, Liu brings a dynamic and interdisciplinary lens to her research in neuroepidemiology.
Puranjay Shori, a graduating MPH student at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health, discovered his passion for public health while volunteering at a Florida charitable organization, Hearts for the Homeless Gainesville, a non-profit that provides healthcare resources for underserved communities, namely the unhoused.
The SWCOEH commemorates Workers Memorial Day, an international day of observance for individuals killed, disabled, injured, or made unwell in the course of their work. It serves as a tragic reminder of the preventable nature of workplace fatalities, injuries, and illnesses and underscores the need for ongoing efforts to improve workplace health and safety.
